So the Freakin' Weekend came and went. I saw a grand total of two bands. ha. Yeah, I guess birthday weekends can do that to you. It helped I was pumped full of alcohol before going on Friday by my friends, and once at the show my roommate was told she couldn't go back into Exit/In because she was too drunk. Too drunk for Exit/In?! WHATTHEFUCK?! Other things got in the way for the other nights... like a radio show and recovering. I'm a bitch. So yeah. I had a blasty blast on Friday, though. Good friends and good beers made my night and the rest of the weekend. Make sure you check Nashville's Dead for a recap of the wknd along with this week's upcoming shows.

Well, Record Store Day was great for my ears, but not for my bank account. I had a great time at The Great Escape on Charlotte Avenue. I went to Grimey's for a bit, but wasn't there too long. I was at one of the check-points for the first alley-cat of the spring. I just sat outside Yazoo (the new place is great, btw) for a while and drank and chatted with some people from Denmark. It was very "laterly." Then went to a cook-out, drank some more beers, had some food, and ended up calling 911 for the second time in my life. We saw this woman wreck her car by where we were. She was okay, but not excited. We think she hit the gas instead of the brake and she destroyed a sign and almost hit a house. Crazy stuff.
